Dave Cutler
BSc (Hons) in Landscape Design and Management
A successful professional with his own landscaping business, Dave has worked in the horticulture industry since leaving sixth form.
He completed his advanced apprenticeship at Reaseheath and attributes his early passion for horticulture and its industry to this practical, work-based method of learning.
After gaining valuable experience in the workplace, Dave decided to continue to develop his knowledge and skills by returning to study at University Centre Reaseheath. He has completed a two year Foundation Degree in Garden and Landscape Design and is currently ‘topping up’ with a further year of studies to a BSc in Landscape Design and Management. He believes these qualifications will help him to expand and improve his business.
While an undergraduate, Dave took the lead in the construction of our award winning show garden at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park 2017, spending 16 long consecutive days on the showground. Added to this achievement, he also became a dad for the first time!
Dave was also a key member of our show garden design and build team at Tatton Park in 2016 and says these experiences have continued to inspire his work.
My aim is to create eye-catching outdoor spaces which will encourage others to appreciate the beauty and interest of horticulture. Hopefully my degree will help me to achieve this.
