CREST, the Centre for Research in Environmental Sciences and Technologies, is based at University Centre Shrewsbury and is a partnership between the University of Chester and Reaseheath College.
Reaseheath staff work with businesses to help develop, test and demonstrate innovative technologies, products, systems and services that deliver environmental benefits and improvements.
Through CREST, Reaseheath runs projects such as the development of bioreactors to reduce diffuse pollution, optimising the storage and use of ensiled materials, exploiting bracken as a bioresource, and evaluating straw pellets for equine bedding.
