Initially trained at the Welsh College of Horticulture, Craig then studied art and design for landscapes at Glyndwr University and completed a BSc (Hons) in Landscape Design and Management through Harper Adams University. Craig also holds a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education from Glyndwr University.
Craig is an experienced designer who has been creating inspiring spaces for both domestic and commercial clients over several years.
Craig is a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and acts as its education representative on the North West and North Wales Committee. He is also Academic Member of the Landscape Institute.
Research interests:
Craig is an RHS Gold Medallist and a Best in Show Award Winner, he also holds RHS Silver-Gilt and Bronze medals.
As well as lecturing at UCR, Craig still operates a landscape design and landscape management service.
In his spare time Craig enjoys volunteering in his local community, where he is a local councillor and Chairman of his local in Bloom campaign. He is currently the Chairman of the Council.
He is also a Justice of the Peace.
His hobbies and interests include gardening, local politics, design, performing arts, history.
Vivek gained his MSc in Sustainability, Planning and Environmental Policy from Cardiff University and his Bachelor of Planning from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. Vivek has substantial experience of conducting research on climate justice, environmental policies, sustainable practices and urban sustainability assessment. Vivek has also delivered environmental education sessions to primary school children.

Vivek loves carrying out practical environmental activities with his local community groups. He also enjoys baking and growing houseplants.
Lis was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Plant Science after studying jointly at Newnham College, Cambridge, and University of Manchester. Lis continued onto an MPhil degree in Plant Pathology, which resulted in the publication of her thesis. She has recently completed the Diploma in Education and Training. Lis is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture. Lis is currently Chair of the UCR Ethics Committee.

Siobhan completed her MSc in Countryside Management at MMU, and her PGCE at Keele University. Siobhan also has her IQA qualification. Siobhan has 15 years experience of delivering Higher Education, including lecturing, people management, curriculum development, course management, and project management. Siobhan is currently licensed to handle Great Crested Newts and has experience of UK conservation management. Siobhan is also the University Hedgehog Champion, carrying out work on site improving Hedgehog habitats.

Interests.
Siobhan worked with the Born Free Foundation on the captive breeding and re-introduction programme of Iberian Wolves, including collection of blood samples for DNA testing from the remaining wild population. She has a particular fondness for flying foxes.
