Karen Cope

A property lawyer turned floral artist, Karen has been pursuing her ultimate dream since deciding on a career change and becoming a Reaseheath undergraduate.

A Level 3 Diploma in Floristry ‘Student of the Year’ after just one year of study, Karen has progressed into Higher Education and has enjoyed the challenge of learning more advanced techniques at Level 4.

She continues to take every opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills by working alongside professionals and was a key member of our medal winning floristry teams at the RHS Chelsea and Tatton Park Flower Shows. This was the fourth time that Reaseheath florists have qualified for prestigious RHS Chelsea, earning themselves praise from international judges and encounters with visiting members of the Royal Family.

Apart from her show experiences Karen also immersed herself in a fairytale work experience, helping to create floral designs for international brides in French chateaux!

Knowing that she was keen to expand her practical skills and industry knowledge, Karen’s lecturer suggested she should approach a contact who runs French Flower Style, a booming wedding and events floristry business. Karen was invited to join the company in France for a couple of weeks and helped to deliver and arrange the flowers for prestigious weddings all over the country.
